City is Launching a Survey for Public Input on ARPA Funds

Beginning May 1, the City of Stonecrest will invite residents, community organizations, business owners and stakeholders to participate in an online survey to assist officials in determining the best use of funds received from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA)

The Act was signed into law on March 11, 2021. It is the sixth COVID-19 relief bill enacted and provides approximately $1.9 trillion in assistance. The City has been allocated $9.7 million in funding to address the negative impacts of the pandemic through a number of opportunities, including education, housing, food assistance, or loan and grant programs.

The theme for the City’s outreach effort is Stonecrest Forward. “As the City and its residents continue to recover and move forward from this global pandemic, we encourage the community to join the conversation and share their ideas for shaping the future of Stonecrest,” said Mayor Pro Tem George Turner. “It is important that everyone completes this survey because their opinions matter.”

The ARPA survey will be available on the City’s website from May 1 through 12 p.m. on June 20. To fill out the survey, click the 'Start Survey' button above, or click 'Stonecrest Forward' within website's top menu.

Please email  arpaengagement@stonecrestga.gov for any survey-related comments or concerns.
