During the month of October, hunger awareness is a focal point of several local nonprofit organizations. Hunger Awareness Month is dedicated to acknowledging food disparity and insecurity in our community and addressing those issues through action. In supporting this effort, the City of Stonecrest is hosting a canned food drive to assist families in need.
Here’s how you can help! We’re accepting ALL canned foods and nonperishable items. Any donations, big or small, will go a long way!
For Monday – Friday, please drop-off all donations at Browns Mill Recreation Center in the designated bins located between the glass doors in the lobby. On Saturday, Oct. 31 (Halloween Day) the donations will be collected at our future City Hall. See the times and locations below:
