Human Resources (HR) serves as a strategic partner to departments within the city of Stonecrest to provide advice, support, and programs that effectively utilize and manage our most valuable asset – our employees!
The Department is currently comprised of two employees: the Director of Human Resources and a Human Resources Analyst.
The mission within the Human Resources Department is to provide expertise and leadership in the implementation and administration of employment, benefits administration, classification, compensation, employee relations, training, and development services.
We accomplish our mission with a goal and commitment to providing exceptional customer service to our customers. In doing so, we consistently strive to provide best in class programs, and to be the best organization we can be.
Within the department we continually seek ways to maximize our human talents while leveraging technology. To this end, we are seeking to rely on technological advances to streamline our processes. In the talent acquisition and management space, we are implementing an HRIS solution that will provide a seamless flow of employee information across multiple Human Resources disciplines from talent acquisition, onboarding, and staff development to time and attendance and payroll processing.
In the compensation and benefits space, we are implementing a plan that complements our goal to hire the best employees available to serve our citizens. This means that our total rewards philosophy requires us to be internally equitable and competitive with the relevant labor market.
