Mayor Jazzmin Cobble and City Council, in partnership with DnD Productions, LLC, will host Education Fest 2023, Saturday, July 15th, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. The event will take place at Browns Mill Recreation Center, 5101 Browns Mill Road, Stonecrest, GA 30038.
City officials will be giving away backpacks and school supplies donated by local groups and residents. There will also be a distribution of tablets donated by Moolah Wireless.
Families and children of all ages are encouraged to come and enjoy onsite financial literacy information from Caden Harris’ Financial Literacy Program, and participate in hands-on STEM activities.
The event will feature immunization and health screenings. Health information will be provided by Kids’-Doc-On-Wheels, Inc. and the Department of Public Health. Additionally, high school scholars can join Mayor Cobble and film and entertainment industry professionals about career opportunities in the film and entertainment industry.
