WHAT: The City of Stonecrest will pave a 1.5-mile stretch of Panola Road located south of I-20.
WHEN: Thursday, Oct. 17, 2024 to Friday, Nov. 1.
WHERE: The section of Panola Road between Snapfinger Road (Highway 155) and Browns Mill Road (Highway 212).
WHY: Street paving along Panola Road is a part of the City’s Streets Resurfacing and Paving Program, of which $6 million was allocated to resurface more than 40 lane miles of road this year.
NOTES: Traffic will be restricted to one lane during the two-week project. Traffic control devices and flagmen will be in place throughout the duration of the paving work to ensure safety and smooth traffic flow. Drivers are urged to seek alternate routes if possible to avoid delays.
